How we build the KXC Rate: a sovereign GPU benchmark

Every week we publish an indicative rate for sovereign GPU capacity across three residency tiers. Here's exactly how the number is made — and what it is not.

The KXC Rate is a quote-derived median, not a settlement price. We collect fixed-price block indications from vetted UK and EU providers, normalise them to a comparable H100 80GB SXM unit, and publish the median per residency tier.

Residency is the axis that matters most and is the least visible on public price pages. A €1.70 EU-located rate from a US-owned provider is not comparable to a €2.05 UK-sovereign rate for a buyer with data-residency obligations — so we never blend them.
